I wanted something that would fit on my counter and still provide the convenience and quality of a great espresso. this compact espresso machine has truly exceeded my expectations in terms of performance, design, and ease of use. Despite the small size, the Coffee Gator Espresso Machine, Quick-Brew Espresso Maker with Milk Frother & 1.3 Liter, has an impressive performance. the water reservoir is easy to fill and access. the high-quality heating system provides a rich beautiful crema layer. I can brew a single shot or a double shot the espresso always comes out with a perfect balance of boldness and smoothness. It has been easy to use, with the control knob to adjust the settings from steaming to coffee. the removable drip tray makes it easy to take out and clean up. this has been a hassle-free brewing machine that is small and mighty. The price was within my budget compared to other espresso machines which is one of the other reasons that I have decided to purchase this one. I do not need to purchase a larger one at all. I am super satisfied with my purchase.

As a former espresso business owner, I have an idea of what espresso machines can do. With that in mind, after I sold my business, I decided to look for "non-professional" machines that could make good espresso. I've tried many machines. This machine is the best I've found so far for the following reasons: 1) It allows you to decide how long to pull a shot. 2) It allows you to decide how hot you want the milk. 3) Frothing milk is very easy with this machine. 4) It's the best "hand crafted espresso" (for the price) that I've seen since I sold my business in 2012. 5) The instructions are very clear.

If you're NOT familiar with espresso machines, many on the market now are "semi-automatic" and pretty much do everything for you (grinding, pulling shots, etc.). They are also very expensive. The more automatic they become, the more expensive they are. So, if you're looking for a good basic machine that will pull decent shots and allows you to hand craft your own drinks, this is a great machine for the price. My only complaint is that when I put the portafilter on, you have to hold the machine so it doesn't slide around. The portafilter is not the highest quality but that doesn't matter as much as other features that are good.

I respect a good espresso, but I wasn't about to dish out two or three mortgage payments for an espresso machine, so I did some research. This espresso machine is recommended in a few blogs and it's more than affordable, so I purchased it. We have had it for about three weeks now and it's fantastic! It takes like one minute to prepare a shot and pull one. Heating up takes about 15 seconds as well.

Some notes:
- You have to time it yourself. I use a glass espresso shot cup with measurements on the sides. I stop the machine when the foam reaches the mL for the shot, then let it settle a bit. After it does, I add however much more it needs for the rest of the shot.
- Many reviews complain about leaking. I think their problem is they turn off the machine, then take away their glass or cup. If you think about it, there is still water in the portafilter (the thing you put the espresso in)... Of course it's going to leak for a few seconds! Just leave your cup there for like five more seconds and it won't be a problem.
- You need a grinder if you purchase this machine. They are only like $10 on Amazon. Grind until it reaches a powdery consistency. Use the tamper the machine comes with and push as hard as possible one or two times.
- Do some research on how to froth your milk. The frother on this machine works great! Make sure you are cleaning it consistently. I do this by wrapping a thick towel around it and letting the hot water come out and then wipe the outside well.

If you want to get into espresso but don't want to take a loan out for a machine, this is an excellent option.

For the price point on sale and what this machine is able to do, it is hard to beat. I have been using this for a little over a year and I have to say I am not disappointed at all. It makes great espresso. One thing I noticed is that if you don't empty the drip tray at the bottom after every use, it tends to leak. Do that one thing and you won't see any issues with it.

UPDATE: I have had this machine for 8 days now and it still works great! It makes a fantastic espresso, cappuccino, americano, and machiatto. I am a beginner with espresso but this machine makes preparation easy. It has replaced my Kcup coffee machine. Highly recommended.

if you want to make your own espresso or latte type coffees with steamed milk, you can’t beat this machine at the sale prices. This type of espresso machine is sold with different names, but the machine looks exactly like another brand i bought during black friday sales. It operates the same with a knob and three buttons, one button on the top front center is to turn the machine on. Once the lights stop flashing, once you pack your coffee and put your cup underneath, just turn knob on the side forward and it will start to dispense hot water. It comes with double, single and i'm not sure what the 3rd cup is but it looks small like a single shot.
Once the coffee stops, turn the knob back to center position, and if the front lights blink, wait till it stops then select the clouds (steam), turn the knob to back position to steam the milk. If you select the other button with the 3 water drops, it will dispense hot water to make say an americano when you turn the knob back. So overall, easy to use, and easy to clean, great for making a latte at work or at home.

Got my first machine and it unfortunately didn't want to pump water for me.
Called Customer service and they walked me through and troubleshooting before we determined it was just the machine having issues.
They sent me a new one and made the return of the other very easy.

Once I got the new one it works great!
I love the multiple filters for different sizes and froth.
The water tank is the best also as ypundont have to constantly refill the machine for every shot or americano.

The machine has a purge setting with is always NICE.

Nice slim design so it doesn't take uo more counter space than a regular coffee pot.
