We bought the Nespresso Pixie as a Christmas gift for our son and after trying it had to have one for ourselves. We have a small winter home with not a lot of counter space and this Espresso maker takes up very little space and fits perfectly next to our toaster. We love the taste of the espresso from this machine, both the Nespresso and the third party pods. The milk frother is wonderful and makes every cup special. Now that we're back home for the summer and fall we want to buy one for this home too but unfortunately the price has increased so will wait for another bundle sale. This unit won't disappoint you!

I had used the Nespresso machine numerous times when we stayed in hotels and we were aways impressed by the ease of use and the quality of the coffee. When I see the deal on Amazon, I decided its time to get my own.
This combo of Nespresso machine and milk frother is perfect for making coffee drinks in minutes. We can have a delicious latte or cappuccino in less than two minutes any time of the day. If you want to make your own espresso and other coffee drinks at home without spending the time and money on one of those expensive Espresson machine, this is one of the best options you can find.

I read many one star reviews, before purchasing the bundle, that the frother stopped working very shortly after purchase. This happened to me also. With the help of a very polite, Amazon support person, I was able to contact DeLonghi directlly by video to learn how to use this device.
This would have been completely unnecessary if I had received an instruction guide for the frother. Not having that little piece of paper (or an online video for the reading, impaired) wasted DeLonghi's time, Amazon's time and my time!
HERES WHAT I LEARNED....
1. BEFORE every single use, the froth container should be rinsed in very cold water and emptied before adding the milk to froth. Whether you are frothing on the cold or the hot setting, the container itself must be CLEAN and COLD to work properly.
2. AFTER every single use, the small round mechanism that does the frothing (attached magnetically and removable.) should be separated from the container and cleaned along with the container.
3. If you do not know the steps, or if you are too lazy to perform them, your frother will live for about a month, and then you will leave a one star review on Amazon.
I'm giving a five star review because Delongi makes good appliances IF you follow their instructions. AND because of the excellent customer service that the Amazon phone operator gave me. She's a keeper, and Amazon needs to give her a raise!!!

I’m a person that has to research everything before buying it and it took me a long time to decide on this Nespresso pixie espresso machine. My daughter has an espresso/coffee maker combination of another brand and I liked the cappuccino her machine made. I researched the various espresso machines because I wanted to make cappuccino mostly. It looks nice on your counter and it’s not very big, it does not take up much space at all. The milk frother works great but don’t forget to heat the milk in the microwave first before using the machine to froth the milk. The machine and came with some samples of Nespresso, which were all really good. I bought several of my own Nespresso capsules and have made cappuccinos at least three times a week. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it.

I’ve been using the illy X1 machine for the last 15 years and while taking a trip to Europe recently had the opportunity to use the Pixie which was supplied in my apartment.
This little machine produces an awesome espresso if you use the right capsules. I tried the Starbucks capsules which were cheaper but the espresso was very weak. I realized that illy also makes these capsules and it proved to be the best espresso I’ve had in a long time. It actually produces a better tasting espresso than the original illy machine which costs more than $900. I am very happy with this machine.

I tried this exact espresso maker while in Switzerland at an Airbnb and fell in love with it so much that I ordered it before I got home! I was skeptical because it reminded me of a kcup machine but it turned out to be so much better. Highly recommend!
