This machine is incredible. It makes the best lattes and cappuccinos. It has enough pressure power to extract that great espresso taste. The best part about this machine is the milk frother. I love how you can keep the entire reservoir in the fridge - you have to be sure to flush the system before you store of course.

When I was searching for the best espresso machine to replace my Keurig, this one won me over because it had 20 bar pressure and a milk frother you can store in the fridge. The taste of my espresso was the cherry on top - it makes a delicious cup.

The machine is very compact and fits right where my Keurig use to go. Perfect machine and makes delicious beverages. My parents are excited to come over and try my fancy espresso maker.

This machine has NOT disappointed for quality, taste of drink, options, ease of cleaning and maintenance. You can adjust how much foam you want. All the included parts seem to be good quality. I was apprehensive because I have bought machines that didn't make good espresso. It is easy to clean and start up process is easy as well. All the drink settings are excellent. Be sure to keep it clean, and wipe the area where the grounds are filtered through. I am very happy with this machine. And, yes I say it is better than Starbucks because there is consistency in the taste of the drink. I do recommend using Starbucks espresso roasted beans. Enjoy

I just got this MAttinata Espresso Machine and already love it. First thing after washing the plastic parts, I read through the two manuals it comes with then ran the short cleaning cycle as recommended. Make sure to wait until all the buttons stop blinking that tells you the machine is up to temperature. Then I warmed everything by running another water cycle before changing out the frother water for whole milk and filling the two shot filter with coffee and tamping it down. I used a short 4 cup measuring glass to catch the Latte I was making because I didn't know what total quantity of milk and espresso to expect I was sort of just expecting the frother to pour me a cup of warm milk with some espresso at the bottom, but No! I got two full cups of froth plus the two shots of tasty expresso at the bottom. (filled in opposite order but it didn't seem to matter because they settled in the proper order) This was one of the best lattes I've ever had without any sort of flavoring. After gulping that latte down I brewed up another and this time I got OVER 2 cups of milk froth on the double latte setting (two quick pushes of the button for a double)! As my barista friend told me, the froth should be about the consistency of white paint - and that pretty much described it. Very tasty without adding my usual flavors.

The only downside is cleaning the frother. It requires removing the remaining milk from the frother before it has time to harden in the warm piping of the frother, filling it with water and running a short cleaning cycle which amounts to holding in the Latte button for 3 seconds so it can clean out the Latte tubes with steam and water. Not a big deal but necessary not to forget if you are done for the day. If you don't do that you could get a semi-clogged frother or a stinky frother.

If you don't mind a little extra time to clean the frother, you are going to love the cappuccinos and lattes this espresso machine makes.

This does a great job making espresso, Cappuccino and lattes if you use high quality coffee and whole milk. It’s quick and efficient. This machine makes drinks automatically. If you are looking for barista type machine spend a lot of money.
