#1:Mixpresso Espresso Machine for Nespresso Compatible Capsule, Single Serve Coffee Maker Programmable Buttons for Espresso Pods, Premium Italian 19 Bar High Pressure Pump 27oz 1400W (Black)
Just as good as Nespresso's (original line) machine!
My sister had a Nespresso original line machine last time I visited her in FL and she made the best little espresso drinks with it. Obviously, I had to have one, because who doesnt love a good espresso drink?! Paying almost $10 a cup for a white chocolate mocha at Starbucks, I decided to give this machine a shot. But the Nespresso name brand machines were a little too pricey for my wallet. This machine is JUST AS GOOD as my sister's brand name Nespresso machine, but at WAY less of a price point. It works the exact same way and everything! I have used the crap out of this machine and it is by far one of the best purchases I've ever made! And the best part is I can say, "bye, bye Starbucks and your expensive drinks!"
Works like a charm and easy to handle
Super happy with the purchase. I have been making espressos in this for over 2 months now and I love it. One has to make sure to run the machine with just water a few times (I did 5) to rinse out and residue, etc that might have been left over from the manufacturing. I wish it didn't vibrate and make as much noise. But, I guess all espresso machines do. The larger ones made of stainless steel are heavy and therefore don't vibrate, but these small ones somehow need to be designed perfectly with the right materials to absord/dampen that vibration. Other than that, no issues at all.
Makes a very good espresso
I like espresso and I've owned a Gaggia Classic machine for many years. I grew tired of it because the pour was inconsistent, machine was loud and the pour w as never really as hot as it should be. I wanted a pod espresso machine since I do not drink cappuccinos. While Nespresso is the brand, the price point is high and I am not interested in brand products which brought me to Mixpresso. This machine has a good price point, accepts Nespresso type pods, has good design and 19 bars of pressure which made me decide on the purchase. I read many reviews and I take them with a grain of salt. As to the complaints, I do not find the machine loud and the vibration does not rattle the cup. As to lifting the handle, yes it is a bit stiff but to complain about it I find silly. The machine has proven to give an excellent espresso with excellent creama, assuming you purchase a good quality espresso pod. Tou get a hot cup, I wait for the machine to warm up and then run a cup of ust hot water through it. By doing this, the water gets hot and the cup gets hot. I then insert a pod and brew an espresso. So far it has worked perfectly every time. The machine has a small foot print which is another advantage. It's also simple to use. It's a good product with a good warranty although i cannot attest to the customer service and I hope I never have to.
Super Happy Nice Espresso Maker
So happy so far. My machine came in a nice box inside another box with plenty of padding. I was worried about how usps would handle the package. The package was left by my front yard gate. Ugh!! Glad no one stole it. I’ve had it a couple days and everything is fine. My coffee drinks are delicious. Glad I gave this machine a try. I bought the 4 year warranty because of some of the reviews I read. It looks good. It was new. Like the red color. The noise sounds just like the expensive machine I was using. My cup fits under the spout fine but I wish the deck was a little bit bigger. My cup hangs off a tiny bit. Machine makes noise when it makes espresso but no vibration so my cup is safe. Really happy with my purchase. I have some mixpresso coffee pods coming today. I’m hooked on the expensive pods but I’m looking forward to trying the mixpresso pods.
A great little espresso machine compatible with the "original" name brand machine.
Love this little machine. Espresso is new to me, and I wasn't ready to spend a lot of money yet on one of the "name brand" machines, so this one was chosen. I already had a bunch of the "original" capsules/pods for this type of machine, and was pleased that they were compatible and fit perfectly, producing great little cups of Espresso and the larger Lungo cups of coffee. So, this Mixpresso is right up there with the other espresso machines that use the pods/capsules, and works beautifully. If anything, it's a bit noisy while the coffee is being prepared, but I don't care - it's perfect!
Makes a Great Cup of Espresso!
I have a Nespresso Vertuo line machine at home and decided to purchase this for the office to keep myself from going to Starbucks so often. So far so good! This machine makes a mean cup of espresso with a nice crema on top. As per the other comments, the machine does make a lot of noise, but so does a Nespresso so it's really no different. Also, normal cups do not fit, but the machine is designed for single shots and lungo so I think it's reasonable that it does not fit a normal coffee mug. I would say the only (very minor) complaint that I have is that the espresso could be just a tad warmer, but other than that, I'm very pleased with this machine! If you're looking for a reasonably-priced Nespresso, this is definitely the way to go!
So close to barista-quality espresso and so easy to use!
With the somewhat-pricey nespresso capsules, this machine makes creating a rich espresso (regular or decaf) so quick and easy. I have an espresso machine also, which I haven't used since buying the Mixpresso because the latter is so much easier to use and clean. And other than the steamed milk for cappuccino, I don't perceive any difference in the taste of what I can brew.
