For the novice coffee enthusiast or the everyday go getter, if you want some good espresso and you're not trying to pay $100-$900 for a top tier here here espresso machine. This is a really cost effective go to item and I use mine just about every morning, I have yet to use the frother but I may use some Lactaid and see how it works out. I personally just enjoy black coffee or espresso and this does the deed mighty fine!

simple and effective
I don't use the steam feature. But, the machine is simple to use, not a lot to go wrong. And the coffee is perfect. I got tired of those expensive machines with lots of features------and something always going wrong. Oh, and it is small and fits easily on my counter.

Nice little machine
I'm just a beginner at making coffee drinks and this is a nice little machine for me. It's simple to use and makes a nice espresso. The coffee filter part is tight to turn at first but does loosen up with use. The price is great at $49. I would recommend

 Secure the Espresso Holder
I got this and thought I had the espresso holder on securely, and followed the instructions however it popped out and blasted the carafe and shattered it. I contacted the company to see if I could get a replacement carafe. Note, if you kind of push down on the top of the machine while twisting in the espresso holder it seems to secure in better and was easier to do that just twisting it in, even though lined up I felt like I was using all my body weight to twist it in. But pressing down lighting on the top while twisting in the espresso holder really helped. The machine itself makes great espresso and easy to use. Frothy and creamy toward the end of the pull shot. I drink them straight mostly so I have not used the steam wand other than to clean my glasses.

Excellent alternative to pricey machine!
Takes some practice to not blow milk all over the kitchen... almost aren't it back immediately, but was determined to not let it defeat me. Tips: for one approx 20 oz latte, pour in water from 2 line in metal carafe and add coffee to 2 line. Pour about 3/4 milk into glass 2 cup measuring cup. Turn to brew, get about 3/4-1 in of brewed coffee, turn to steam and steam milk. When milk is about to blow over edge, switch back to brew (keep steamer in the milk) and get last remaining drops of coffee, DO NOT take steamer out of milk, turn to off and machine will blow last of water through steamer. Again, takes some practice but SO worth it for an amazing latte!

 Fancy coffee drinks at home
I’m so glad I ended up buying this machine. I got this espresso maker after seeing a couple people recommend it on a coffee blog. It definitely lives up to what the recommendations made it out to be! I love the milk steamer. It did take some time to figure out how to make the drinks. I’ve found steaming the milk first then pouring it into a mug and then pulling the espresso is the best way (for me at least). Having this machine has definitely allowed me to save money and time by not going to the coffee shop as often. This machine is also pretty compact for small spaces. I’ve attached a picture of it compared to my keurig and also a picture of the latte I made this morning.

 great morning coffee
I love this product. After a short learning curve, I now have the choice of a cappuccino or latte for breakfast without having to wait in line any drive through. I use my favorite coffee, Lavazza Expresso Italian coffee for these specialty drinks. This is a good product for the money. The size is perfect when counter space is limited.
The company, Sowtech has great customer service. I had a problem with one of the eyelets on the lid cracked. I sent a note and a picture of the problem and they immediately resolved the issue and sent me a replacement. Good customer service is so important.
