Quick to set up, easy to use, and cleans up easy.
Descent cup of espresso but not the best I’ve brewed. My fav ever was an old Starbucks barista machine I bought 13 years ago and just recently started sounding like it was about to bite it. So I purchased this one based on reviews and the price was reasonable - the brand I was also familiar with from my time at Starbucks when we switched to DeLonghi for our main espresso machines. Those were several thousand dollar machines and yes, there is a difference in flavor from the ones I make at home. I use the same Starbucks espresso bean and purified water but it’s just not the same strength. There are a few things I wish were a bit different, like you can only use a shot glass or demitasse cup to fit under the portafilter instead of the coffee cup you want to use. But I do like how quickly it’s ready to go- no 5 step priming process or waiting too long (before you’ve had your coffee any amount of time is too long! Lol) for the ready light to light up. It’s very easy to use and like I said, it’s not bad, just not as strong as I’ve been used to.

Very good machine!
Very good machine for the money. It has two inserts. One for a single shot expresso and another for a double. It was a bit confusing at first, as I did not expect two inserts for the coffee. I had a Phillips Saeco for 8 years and it was great. They discontinued that model so I had to search out another. This DeLonghi had good reviews so I took a chance and I have not been disappointed. We took it to my sons house for Christmas so I would not have to get out every day and go to Starbucks for a latte. When I went to take it out of the back of the Suburban, the machine fell out of the back about 2-3 feet down on to the driveway. No problems....it started right up and I made myself and my daughter-in-law two great latte's.

 Best Little Espresso Machine Ever!
This is our 2nd one purchased, the last one was about 3 years ago as a gift for my husband. We wore it out! My honey will make several cups a day when were home, and we work from home frequently. For the price you can't buy a better machine, I dare you to!
I never tried to learn to use it until we got this replacement last week. My husband showed me and its so easy, can't believe I never tried before!
We've started making Dirty Chai with this too, just heat up 1/2 cup of Chai Latte in the microwave, and add it to the frothed milk, then add the shot of espresso. It's as good as our little local coffee shops!

Redesigned
This is about my third or fourth iteration of this model. They're inexpensive and I don't suppose you can expect them to last a long time. And I use it as if it were a real expresso machine - I tamp the grounds to about 30 lbs of pressure in an attempt to get something resembling espresso. I'm not fond of the pressurized basket but these entry-level models all have them. I like the redesign - the knobs and such seem to work better. The outlets on the filter basket are a bit further apart so I had to use a slightly larger cup to catch the espresso.

 Perfect for at home lattes
I’ve had this machine for a few months now. It is so user friendly and EASY if you read the instruction manual. I was a barista for 5 years and always used automatic machines. This manual makes way better quality espresso in my opinion. Definitely buy somethIng to tamp the espresso down. I also bought a smaller pitcher to stream milk because this steam wand sits low. I use any shot glasses I have around the house and I’ve never had trouble with them fitting. I researched a lot of espresso machines before I settled on this one and I’m happy with my final decision. Definitely the best quality for a midrange espresso machine.

I finally decided to give the DeLonghi EC155M a chance and I now know I made the best choice! It is perfect on my counter
As a beginning espresso maker I was very nervous about buying a coffee maker. I finally decided to give the DeLonghi EC155M a chance and I now know I made the best choice! It is perfect on my counter, doesn't take up a lot of room. But the big test was making coffee. It passed all tests and I now make coffee with ease. So easy to work and also easy clean up. I am so happy with my purchase! For any beginner this machine is the best and believe me, I did so much homework before purchasing one. Have fun with it and enjoy a great cup of espresso.

Small but really powerful!
I drove myself crazy reading about all the different Machines and alot of the reviews...but I am so happy I did! This specific model has made perfect Expresso and Lattes since the first day I got it. Thanks Delonghi you really “packed a lot of steam” into this little machine! I went ahead and spent just a few more dollars on the Expresso Shot Glasses, 12oz Stainless Steel Pitcher/Tamper Combo and it was well worth it. Thanks Amazon, I feel like I have my own Little Coffee Shop now!
