#1:De'Longhi Dedica 5-Bar Pump Espresso Machine, Black
Awesome Espresso Machine!!
It’s really awesome espresso machine for the price! I had Mr. Coffee espresso machine before but this is way beyond that in quality of the build, espresso flavor and overall ease of use. Occupies less space on the counter which is what I wanted.
Starbucks ,WHO??
Do not hesitate to get this espresso machine, it will blow you away. After trying the espresso from this machine and comparing it to Starbucks, WOW what a difference! Makes Starbucks espresso taste weak!
And this is with using Cafe Bustelo ground espresso, nothing fancy but the quality of espresso and crema is top notch! Delicioso!
This is the best value/quality/price Machine - professional coffee every time!
This is my second machine for another kitchen, and as excellent as expected - I bought a reconditioned one this time, and absolutely no issues whatsoever - the speed with which this machine gets ready is amazing - 30 - 40 seconds (I’ve had professional Italian machines that take 10 minutes +...). This is ideal for a home that makes max 4 to 7 pulls in a row. I recommend the first pull to be done without any coffee, to warm the portafilter unit, and then, good to go! The length of the pull is programmed by volume and not time, so it adjust for the coffee grind - but getting a burr grinder is the “bomb” - check out the Enzoo - fantastic value!
Excellent Espresso Maker - A Froth Like No Other
I had my first espresso maker for 10 plus years. So I did a lot of research when it came time to get a new one. After buying another coffee maker and returning it for this one, I am giving this one five stars. I was looking for an espresso maker that would hold 16 oz, this holds about 14 oz of water. Just wanted to point that out. The only issue I had at first is the milk steamer cup is on the left side but I did get use to it and now like how the control is on the right side. The milk steam is excellent, a froth like no other, almost too powerful. I would definitely recommend this espresso maker to all coffee lovers.
great product
im not a coffee professional but I like the hobby. after 6 months I can say this was a nice purchase and I was able to modify the steam wand (with some hard work because im not that much of a mechanic of any sort)
this modification made a huge difference but it still made me some nice cappuccinos before that. if you want to be a pro, perhaps I suggest you buy one machine that already includes a rancilio silva steam wand. if you're a hobbyist you will be having tons of fun with this one.
Makes terrific cappuccino
After doing a great deal of "research" about different machines, we finally decided on the DeLonghi Dedica. We like the small footprint, so it takes up less space on our counters. With the "matching" grinder it looks classy. Had it been solely my choice, I would have chosen a super-automatic machine, but my husband wanted more control. This is a nice compromise. It's easy to use once you learn how, and you can make choices about the amount of pressure when tamping the coffee grounds. Because you need to dump out the used grounds, it is a little messier than a super-automatic. But we were used to that with our decades old Krupps (which continues to work very well and makes delicious espresso). We also loved that we could get it in red to match our other kitchen accessories.
3 months in and still my favorite way to make coffee
3 months later and I'm still in love with this machine! I was given this machine for Christmas and it has worked great so far. I love how fast it heats up and instantly have this high quality espresso! I still haven't used the steam wand much, but do want to get into creating some drinks with that as well.
