They are the most comfortable indoor footwear in the world (once you get a pair that fits). I love this type of shoe but these did not fit (were too big) and didn't come in a smaller size. My previous clogs had rubberized soles and were not felt and wool, therefore my feet got cold. I recently purchased a pair of haflinger slippers. First pair (41) were too small (my fault for ordering the wrong size). Third pair (42) fit like the 41---way too short.
I decided to give it one more go (because i really love the shoes) and finally got a great pair that fit. 5 in women's shoes, but often need to size up because of my long toes. These slippers are very warm and do cushion your feet but i've found that it is necessary to wear socks with them in order to get a snug enough fit so the rigid tops do not rub the tops of my feet. Not sure if or how this could have happened, but since i started wearing these slippers i've developed a tailor's bunion on one foot - never had any sort of problem with bunions before (i don't wear heels). Coincidence, or perhaps because of the loose fit, but i've stopped wearing them now.
