After wearing them for about a week, my heel began to hurt. I traded the insoles with my daner boots and the pain stopped. So my conclusion was i needed better insoles. I ordered some spenco� polysorb® total support, since the insoles for my daner boots were not for sale; will update how they work when they arrive in the mail. ***status update: with the order of the spenco® polysorb® total support my heel feels great. They have total support of my arches, heel, and base of my foot. Without these insoles i would have not recommended these shoes due to the pain of my left heel. Keep in mind i fractured my left foot a few years ago, so that might be the reason my heel was hurting. I still highly recommend these shoes, but do invest in a great pair of insoles. .
